Our orthodontic team wants you and your organization to know that for years we have been blessed to offer to schools and organizations the opportunity to have one or two of our highly knowledgeable and experienced staff come and share an informative and attention-getting presentation on dental and orthodontic health that will encourage participants to appreciate good dental health and what modern dental care can do for overall health.
Orthodontics and the Community
As part of our way of giving back to the community, we have developed a 45-60 minute presentation in which various topics are presented and demonstrated. These include the basis of good dental health, thorough dental home care practices, the benefits of a healthy mouth, why someone might need orthodontic care, what braces are and how they work, and how straight teeth contribute to a healthy mouth, comfortable chewing muscles and jaw joints, and a bright smile. We also enjoy a question and answer session, which has proven to be lively and informative with all the groups we have visited. Our presentation can be tailored to young children, pre-teens, teens, and adults. Since orthodontics is for all ages, it’s easy to show how the benefits of orthodontic care apply to everyone.
American Association of Orthodontists
At many presentations, we take the opportunity to give toothbrushes, other dental health aids, and informative brochures from the American Association of Orthodontists to the participants to encourage consistent attention to dental health. We’re happy to answer questions about our practice; however, the purpose of the visit is primarily to promote good dental health.
Please consider your needs for expanding the exposure of your school or organization to dental health and orthodontic care. If you find you would like more information concerning who we are or about this community outreach we welcome your call anytime. Please don’t hesitate to contact our office at 919-847-6364 with any special ideas or requests.
